DANCE WELL BERGAMO RETURNS TO ACCADEMIA CARRARA FOR THE 2025–2026 SEASON
The fifth season of Dance Well Bergamo is starting again, hosted in the spaces of Accademia Carrara.
Dance Well – Research and Movement for Parkinson’s takes place in numerous venues across Europe, bringing the artistic practice of dance into museums, theatres, and cultural spaces. Dance Well is a project dedicated to people living with Parkinson’s, but open to young people and adults alike, fostering cultural participation, social connection, and well-being through movement in an inclusive and intergenerational way.
The big news this year is that the project will be carried out thanks to an alliance of four organizations that, recognizing the value of the initiative, have committed to supporting it continuously for three years, through to 2028: these organizations are ABC – Allegra Brigata Cinematica, Accademia Carrara, Festival Danza Estate, and Festival ORLANDO.
In Bergamo, the 2025–2026 edition kicks off on October 22, 2025, with one session every Wednesday.
Advance booking is required, subject to availability. Participation is free of charge.

INFORMATIONS
The classes will be led by certified Dance Well Teachers and will take place at the Accademia Carrara, in Piazza Giacomo Carrara in Bergamo, every Wednesday from October 22, 2025, until May 2026.
In response to the high number of requests received, this edition will be divided into three separate cycles. People with Parkinson’s will be able to attend all three cycles, while we will aim to divide the remaining participants into groups, so that everyone has the opportunity to take part in at least one cycle.

The lesson cycles will be as follows:
- Cycle 1: from October 22 to December 17, 2025 – every Wednesday, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Cycle 2: from January 7 to March 11, 2026 – every Wednesday, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Cycle 3: from March 18 to May 27, 2026 – every Wednesday, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM
