Festival ORLANDO is an international queer festival of cinema, dance, theatre and meetings, aimed at a diverse audience. By bringing valuable artistic experiences to Bergamo, the Festival transforms the city into a meeting place where stereotypes can be overcome and horizons broadened.
Films, shows, exhibitions and workshops make up the rich programme of the event, which is developed through a network of relationships, cultural exchanges and national and international partnerships.
The project takes its name from the novel of the same name by Virginia Woolf and is a concrete example of how differences (whether cultural, gender, geographical origin or emotional orientation) are indispensable for the constitution of a cultural identity that is plural, alive and in constant transformation.
