Perform Europe for "Cities by Night Across Borders"

We are happy to announce that the project Cities by Night Across Borders is one of the 19 projects chosen among Perform Europe. The project is created from the art work of Valentina Medda and the relation of three cultural organizations: Festival ORLANDO (Italy), Rosendal International theatre (Norway) and Artpolis/Femart Festival (Kosovo).
Perform Europe is funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union and co-managed by a Consortium of 5 organisations: IETM International network for contemporary performing arts, the European Festivals Association (EFA), Circostrada Network, European Dancehouse Network and IDEA Consult.
Cities by Night Across Borders is an ongoing participatory project dealing with women’s perception of the danger in the urban environment.
Valentina Medda is an artist, organizer and educator. Her art practice lays at the crossroads between performance, photography and intervention, positioning itself right at the border that separates and connects public and private, body and architecture, urban space and social belonging.
